Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news and audio.

Note:  The Jets had a day off on Sunday as they decompressed from the four-game road trip which concluded with Patrik Laine’s five goals leading to an 8-4 victory over the Blues and making it one hell of a Saturday night for Winnipegger Christopher Haley.  Today they return to the ice for an 11 am practice at Bell MTS Place as they switch focus to the Pittsburgh Penguins who come to town for a game at Bell MTS Place on Tuesday night.  Big question ahead of skate is the status of Andrew Copp who didn’t play in St. Louis after suffering a concussion in St. Paul on Friday.  Our Winnipeg Jets Practice Report will bring you up to speed on the latest from the downtown rink.

Note II:  The Moose also return to the ice after taking Sunday off following a two-game series at home against the Wild which saw both teams earn a win.  They are set to practice at 10:30 am out at the IcePlex and will thereafter travel to California to play six road games starting Wednesday night with the San Diego Gulls where they will meet up with an old friend (Chase De Leo) who plays on the opposing team.  Another familiar face will be Marko Dano who is expected to join the team before they leave….unless that is he gets recalled due to Andrew Copp’s concussion.
