Note: The Jets will conclude their home stand tonight with the fourth and final contest as they look to go a perfect 4/4 at Bell MTS Place. It won’t be easy against a dangerous Buffalo Sabres team who have won three straight as well. The team got good news on Thursday afternoon when the Department of Player Safety fined but did not suspend Josh Morrissey for his hit on TJ Oshie late in the 3rd period of Wednesday’s game. Suspicion is, based on practice yesterday, we will see the same lineup as last game but be sure to check out the Winnipeg Jets pre-game report at 10:30 am on here to get up-to-date news about the lines, D pairs, starting goalie and more. Puck drop is at 7 pm.
Note II: The Moose were traveling on Thursday but there was still some news concerning the team as there was a report that Kristian Vesalainen’s KHL rights were bought by Jokerit which, when combined with the out clause in his contract, created a bit of a stir. Today they practice in Michigan as they prepare to face the Griffins in Grand Rapids tomorrow night.
