Note:  The Jets aren’t hitting the panic button after a 3rd period collapse on Tuesday night cost them a point.  They practiced on Wednesday as they tried to turn the page to prepare for the Canucks tonight.  We shall see if 33 joins his teammates at the morning skate at 10:30 am as he was listed as possible by his head coach.  Puck drop is at 7 pm and we will have all the action covered.

Note II:  A long week of practice for the Moose is almost over as the team will have a final day of skating today before they get back into game mode on Friday when the San Antonio Rampage come to town for a pair of games.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets need to lighten up.  No need to be doom and gloom just a handful of contests into the season.

Sportsnet: Maurice and Jets using Oilers loss as learning tool.  Paul Maurice and Connor Hellebuyck don’t think forgetting about blowing a three goal lead against the Oilers is the best approach but see value in learning from the loss and identifying mistakes.
