Note: The day fans have been waiting all summer for has finally arrived as the Winnipeg Jets officially kick off 2018-19 training camp today with on-ice testing starting with Group A at 10 AM and Group B at 12 pm. Tonight the Jets will be revealing their third jersey that will be worn this season. An image was leaked yesterday that wasn’t exactly awe inducing and it will be interesting to see what they reveal tonight at the season ticket portion of Fan Forum which kicks off at 7:30 pm.
Note II: Of course the excitement of a new season beginning is tempered by the reality that RFA defenceman Josh Morrissey remains unsigned. It will be interesting to see if this drags out or ends in the near future as many expect.
Note III: Tomorrow’s Illegal Curve Hockey Show will be live and on location at Bell MTS IcePlex as we kick off three hours of Winnipeg Jets and NHL hockey talk on TSN Radio 1290. If you are at the IcePlex tomorrow morning come by and say hello!
