Note:  The Jets unveiled their training camp schedule and roster which was missing Josh Morrissey as he remains the last unsigned player by the Jets.  Training camp gets underway with medicals today and on-ice testing tomorrow.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Brossoit shares thoughts on deal with Winnipeg, new fitness regimen.  (Paywall).  While he is clearly in the backup role that doesn’t diminish the fact that there is still going to be a lot of responsibility on his shoulders this season.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets stars receive on-ice instruction from puckhandling master.  (Paywall).  The guy certainly knows how to dish the puck.

Winnipeg Free Press: Blue-line prospect feeling ‘fresher’ with tough year in rear-view mirror. (Paywall).  Green will be an interesting prospect to watch this season.
