Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news.

Note:  The Jets return home today following the conclusion of their four-game road trip to Tennessee and California where they finished with two wins and two losses including last night’s 4-0 defeat by the Sharks, which was the first time this season they’ve been shut out.  The big question for the team surrounds the status of goalie Steve Mason who left after the 1st period with an upper-body injury.  As I illustrated here both Eric Comrie and Michael Hutchinson have been playing well for Manitoba.

Note II:  The Moose won again last night for the sixth game in a row and 10th time in last 11 games as they picked up a 3-0 win over division rival Milwaukee. Like the Jets they are also off today as they make their way over to Rockford, Illinois as they finish off this three-game road trip against the IceHogs on Tuesday.  They will resume practicing on Monday.  We will have to wait to see if one of their goalies gets a recall notice today.  As always stay tuned to illegalcurve.com and we will also notify you via Twitter | Facebook | Instagram.
