Note:  The Jets have the day off today following last night’s contest, a 5-2 win over division rival Dallas.  They will face Montreal tomorrow night at Bell MTS Place with puck drop at 6 pm.

Note II:  The Moose, along with freshly assigned Tucker Poolman, are taking on the Heat tonight in Stockton.  “Morning skate” happens at 1:15 pm as Manitoba gets ready to play their second game of this six game road trip.  Puck drop is at 9 pm.

Jets news:

The Athletic Winnipeg:  What is the Winnipeg Jets’ most optimal forward lineup? (Paywall). With the imminent return of Adam Lowry and then Mathieu Perreault some decisions are going to have to be made. Murat offers up what he sees as the best lines for the Jets to continue their success.  

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets shoot down Stars, showing Central they’re for realThat Jets top line has to be playing as well right now as any top line in the NHL.  They are certainly worth the price of admission on most evenings.  Of course the stellar play of Connor Hellebuyck with his 7-0-1 record and sterling stats has played a fairly significant role in this surge.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Scheifele scores three in Jets’ victory over big D.  (Paywall).  It was the 10th hat trick for the organization since the move from Atlanta and the second one of Scheifele’s career.  Mike breaks down the game.
