Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Petan believes he’s capable of doing more.  (Paywall).  Personally I was of the opinion that Petan would have been far better served playing with the Moose this season gaining experience while playing big minutes in the AHL while he continues to develop.

Winnipeg Free Press: Better stop by the ATM on your way to the future, Mr. Chipman. (Paywall).  When you’re in the big leagues you have to pay a premium and with the amount of talent on this team plus the pieces they are going to need to add to get to the next level it is inevitably going to require some cash.

Ottawa Citizen:  Senators need to make changes that will result in some goals.  Gather some intel on the Jets opposition.

Jets audio:

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Understanding Wheeler’s frustration.  Kevin Olszewski of CTV Sports joins Andrew “Hustler” Paterson and discusses his postgame question to Blake Wheeler, the Jets win vs. Anaheim and another season for the Jets without a playoff appearance.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  It’s not the media’s job to be cheerleaders.  In the opening segment of the Donvito Roundtable Rick Ralph discusses the Jets win vs. Anaheim, their recent three game win streak, the Jets strong play in March and Blake Wheeler’s comments about negative questions from media members.

Moose news:

Official Manitoba site:  The Moose couldn’t solve Troy Grosenick, falling 3-0 in San Jose.  Read Daniel’s recap to be brought up to speed on what happened last night.
