Note:  After a few days of practice the Jets return to some game action as they welcome the St. Louis Blues to town.  Winnipeg will hit the ice at 10:30 am for morning skate and puck drops at 7 pm.  As always keep it locked to illegalcurve.com for pre and post game news and be sure to follow us on social media including Twitter | Facebook | Instagram.

Note II:  The Moose also have a game tonight as they look to keep their hot streak alive.  They have won three games in a row and are riding a 3-0-1 record in their last four games, which included a 5-3 win over these same IceHogs to start the road trip on Tuesday night in Rockford.  Morning skate for Manitoba kicks off at 11:15 am and puck drops at 7 pm.  This kicks off the first of three straight games which will see the Moose play in Rockford tonight, Milwaukee on Saturday (6 pm puck drop) and then conclude the road trip on Sunday in Chicago (3 pm puck drop).

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Five keys for Jets vs Blues.  Ted’s list includes: 1) Kick them when they are down. 2) New look lineup. 3) Who’s in net? 4) Keep it up. 5) Watch out for Tarasenko.  And Ted’s big matchup is the Jets top line vs. the Blues.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets return to youth-based focus.  (Paywall).  With the number of young players on this team they have to be allowed to have some say in the direction of this team.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets’ Trouba served two-game penalty in slow motion.  (Paywall).  Fairly certain fans around Manitoba felt the same way as they couldn’t wait to see him return to the lineup.
