The Manitoban: A nostalgic weekend at the University of Manitoba. It really was from start to finish.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets fall to Stars. The end of game festivities are sure going to carry over to Thursday’s game when the Stars visit Winnipeg for a re-match. Joel Armia must love playing in Dallas because he was easily the best forward on the ice for Winnipeg.
Winnipeg Sun: Rookie Connor takes a seat. The NCAA star wasn’t sat last year when he was ripping it up for the University of Michigan but it isn’t a huge surprise that he was asked to watch the game from the pressbox last night.
Winnipeg Free Press: Sniper Seguin sinks Jets, again. (Paywall). The Jets were up against a tough but depleted Stars roster and put in an effort that fell short.

Illegal Curve: Coach Maurice post-game. Missed chances, hot goalie, how did he see it? Any explanation on the second Stars goalie? Status of Drew Stafford. On Joel Armia stepping up. Will the physicality of the end of the game carry over to Thursday? Hard to balance generating good chances with failure to capitalize?
Moose news:
