Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Latest Jets and Moose news.

Note:  The Moose play their second last game of the season as they will take on San Antonio tonight at the AT&T Center, with puck dropping at 7:30 pm.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Off-season of hope for on-ice change.  (Paywall).  There are so many unknowns as the Jets head into a summer which could see them also add a player who is ready to make the jump from the podium to the roster.  Will we see veterans added as well?

Winnipeg Sun:  Scout racking up air miles.  The focus of Jets fans (and the scouting department) for some time has been the draft at the end of June in Buffalo.  Sounds like Mark Hillier is certainly gaining some serious frequent flyer miles.

Jets audio:

Winnipeg Jets owner and governor Mark Chipman joins Hustler & Lawless to share his view on how the Jets are doing after a disappointing on-ice performance. Chipman discusses his evaluation of Jets management, the health of the business, and shares some future plans for the team and their home at MTS Centre.
