Note:  Winnipeg finished the season last night in L.A. with a come from behind 4-3 shootout win after being down 3-0.  The Jets ended the 2015-16 season on a four game winning streak.  The team will hold their end of season interviews tomorrow so be sure to keep it locked to illegalcurve.com as we will notify you via Twitter | Facebook | Instagram when there is news.

Note II:  In case you thought professional hockey was done in Winnipeg there is still one more Manitoba Moose game as the Jets farm club closes out their home schedule this afternoon in a re-match with the Rockford IceHogs.  It is a fan appreciation game.

Jets news:

CBC:  The curious case of the Jets and the expectations for next season.  A look at expectations (or lack thereof) on the team and the need to hold their feet to the fire from his perspective.  Of course if you read the fan poll that came out in the Sun piece below it would appear the majority of respondents don’t hold this view.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets’ disappointing season ends.  After the promise of 2014-15 the path this team took in 2015-16 caught many fans by surprise.  While Scheifele failed to get his 30th goal of the season he did get an assist on Blake Wheeler’s 26th goal (which tied the game) and meant that 55 has a ten game point streak while 26’s point streak hits eleven games.  Ken wraps up the final game of 82.

L.A. Times:  Kings haven’t put it on ice after shootout loss to the Jets.  Read about last night’s game from a beat writer that cover the Kings.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets fans OK with this result?  An overwhelming majority of fans believe in the direction of the Jets and that those in charge are doing their best to turn things around after a non-playoff season.

Jets post-game audio:

Illegal Curve:  Coach Maurice scrum.  After the 4-3 shootout win a chat with the bench boss covering the following: What did his club do better to battle back from the 3-0 deficit?  No folding when down.  Quick’s save on Chairot.

Moose news:
