Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets’ growing pains will continue.  (Paywall).  Sounds like the fan base is being cautioned against expecting many Ws in the 2015-16 campaign.  But there are plenty of players to watch get an opportunity to make an impression.

Winnipeg Sun:  Fans can see bright future ahead.  The Jets bench boss knows that it will likely be his head on the chopping block if he and his GM chose the wrong path.  Right now the fan base is buying what the coach is selling.  We shall see if it was a smart investment.

Winnipeg Sun:  Youth served by Jets.  What other choice does the team have at this point?  Hard to radically restructure entire roster so if this is the plan moving forward (or was all along) then how long does it take to show a result?

Globe and Mail:  Jets’ ‘hockey nerd’ centre Scheifele approaches game like a science.  He is always the last guy off the ice during warm ups and you can see his dedication to all facets of the game off the ice as well.

Jets audio:

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Hustler and Lawless.  The guys discuss whether JC Lipon and Patrice Cormier are a part of the future for the Winnipeg Jets.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Hustler and Lawless.  Kyle Connor joined the show to talk about his season after being selected by the Jets in the 2015 NHL Draft. Connor discusses changing from the USHL to NCAA hockey, and the decision ahead of him at the end of the school year.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Maurice scrum.  Prior to departing for Detroit the Jets bench boss spoke with the media following skate at the MTS Centre.

Moose news:

Illegal Curve:  Thomas Raffl done for the season.  It has been a nightmare of a season for the 29 year old.

Illegal Curve:  Moose overrun by Wild, lose 4-2.  Recap includes plays of the game, best Moose & injury updates. Post-game audio includes Coach Keith McCambridge, Brenden Kichton and Peter Stoykewych.  Depleted Manitoba lineup no match for Iowa.   Plenty to read and see in this recap by Russ.
