We were told by Jets head coach Scott Arniel that D prospect Elias Salomonsson, who has been in concussion protocol since a Jason Robertson reverse hit on April 2nd in Dallas, would get tested this week to see if he could get out of it and loaned to the Moose.

While it seems unlikely he plays tonight given he just resumed skating and hasn’t been in any contact for some time, his return is a big boost for the backend of the Moose.
The Swedish product played 32 NHL games this season and didn’t look out of place in a Top 4 role.
He was skating in yellow, non-contact today at Moose morning skate so he won’t be a player this evening for Game 1 but is expected to get into contact tomorrow at practice.
