Following the Jets loss to the Senators we had an opportunity to speak to the newest member of the squad.  Brandon Tanev who finished his college career with the Providence College Friars was signed to a one year, two-way deal yesterday by Winnipeg.

What does he hope to show if he gets a chance to play: “my strengths as a player are my speed, my work ethic and my tenacity.  Just kinda getting into the forecheck, being physical when I can…”

What sold him as this being the spot for him:  “My agent helped me along just looking at the organization itself. I definitely felt Winnipeg was the place I needed to be.”
