Winnipeg Jets coach Paul Maurice scrum on Day 5 of Training Camp

The fifth day of Jets training camp began with a scrimmage, news that Connor Hellebuyck was a Vezina finalist and a sit down with bench boss Paul Maurice.

Topics: Clarity on the scrimmage score.  Overall thoughts on seeing players in scrimmage situation for first time in training camp?  Why, since February, did the Jets penalty kill become one of the best in the NHL?  What is his level of confidence that they can get back to that level for the re-start?  What is it that stood out to him most about Connor Hellebuyck this season?  Are there any moments or games that stand out to him for Hellebuyck?  How do you improve rush defence? What impact a defensive structure can have on the goalie’s performance?  Scoring off the rush.  Was there the intention to “light a fire” under Hellebuyck to start the season given the goalie starts?
