Back in May I took a look at which players might be joining the Jets for this second training camp of the 2019-20 season and based on a 28 skater roster, I thought that David Gustafsson and either CJ Suess or Kristian Vesalainen would round out the roster for Winnipeg.
Here was the roster at the pause in mid-March (obviously some players were on IR at the time):
Forwards (17): Mason Appleton, Gabriel Bourque, Kyle Connor, Andrew Copp, Cody Eakin, Nikolaj Ehlers, Jansen Harkins, Patrik Laine, Mark Letestu, Bryan Little, Adam Lowry, Mathieu Perreault, Jack Roslovic, Mark Scheifele, Logan Shaw, Nicholas Shore and Blake Wheeler.
Defence (10): Nathan Beaulieu, Anthony Bitetto, Carl Dahlstrom, Dylan DeMelo, Dmitry Kulikov, Josh Morrissey, Sami Niku, Neal Pionk, Tucker Poolman and Luca Sbisa.
Goalies (2): Connor Hellebuyck & Laurent Brossoit.
All of the skaters listed above with the exception of Bryan Little will be taking part. Here are the players the Jets have added for training camp:
David Gustafsson, CJ Suess, Logan Stanley, Nelson Nogier and Eric Comrie.
The training camp is broken up into two groups:
Group 1:
Eric Comrie, Tucker Poolman, Sami Niku, Carl Dahlstrom, Nathan Beaulieu, David Gustafsson, Nick Shore, Mark Letestu, Logan Shaw, Gabriel Bourque, Jansen Harkins, CJ Suess, Mason Appleton and Mathieu Perreault.
Group 2:
Laurent Brossoit, Connor Hellebuyck, Neal Pionk, Luca Sbisa, Dmitry Kulikov, Dylan DeMelo, Josh Morrissey, Andrew Copp, Adam Lowry, Cody Eakin, Blake Wheeler, Nikolaj Ehlers, Jack Roslovic, Patrik Laine, Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor.
Next up a few weeks of training camp and then a date with the Calgary Flames in Edmonton.
