Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: With Crosby ailing, Jets’ Scheifele back on radar for Team Canada. Since the team was announced in early December no Canadian forward has more goals and overall he sits third in the entire NHL for goals since December 4th. While you’d never want your team without 87 adding 55 would be a smart move for Team Canada.

TSN’s John Lu has more on what GM Kevin Cheveldayoff could be thinking as he assesses his club’s needs before the trade deadline.
TSN: Why aren’t the Winnipeg Jets bigger Stanley Cup favourites?
