TSN: ‘It’ll be a good test for him’: Bowness expects a strong game from Heinola. After playing just two-games with the Jets almost a month ago, Ville Heinola will return to their blue line tonight with the Senators in town. Rick Bowness admits playing the Hurricanes weren’t the easiest opponent for him to face in his first game, so he’s hoping the young defenceman will be a bit more comfortable with the Sens in town.
TSN: Young Sens feeling overall game turning around. After finishing the month of November with a 8-13-1 record, the Sens are 6-2-1 in December so far. Encouraged that their young group is coming around, Ottawa feels that they still have time to make ground in the East.
