Winnipeg Free Press: Veteran Stastny hasn’t lost a step. (Paywall). The thing with Stastny is his hockey IQ is high so even if he doesn’t have quite the same level that he may have had in his late 20s he is still capable of producing and defending.

Winnipeg Sun: Laine, Blue Jackets in town to face Jets. He is going to get a very warm welcome back to the ‘Peg.

JetsTv: First media availability with Patrik Laine in Winnipeg. The second overall pick from 2016 is back in Manitoba with his new team for the first time and he had lots to say.

After a day off today the Jets are all back on the ice tomorrow.

Some players will be taking part in the first home pre-season game against the Senators while there are two skate times for the non-game groups.
