Edmonton Journal: Oilers’ penalty killing unit continues to crush it despite major personnel changes. So don’t take penalties against the number 1 power play unit in the NHL and if that wasn’t bad enough for the opposition no big advantage when given a man advantage.
Sportsnet: Oilers’ Zack Kassian returning from lower-body injury vs. Jets. The big man will be back in the lineup tonight creating all sorts of havoc for the Jets.

Sportsnet’s Sean Reynolds and Ken Wiebe get us ready for the Jets vs. Oilers as the Canadian teams meet for the first time since last years playoffs, and reflect on the rekindling of a rivalry that the two teams had generations ago.
Sportsnet: Can Jets have similar success shutting down Oilers like they did last playoffs? Jets forward Andrew Copp discusses why they will apply some of the same methods they used to shut down the Oilers superstar duo in a 4-game sweep last playoffs, but says they’re much deeper now, and it will be a different dynamic.
Sportsnet: Kassian believes Oilers still have room to grow despite hot start. Oilers forward Zack Kassian speaks to media about the teams positive play on the offensive side of the puck but believes the team needs to get tougher defensively in order to reach top tier of the league.
TSN: Jets believe Oilers are much more than McDavid and Draisaitl. While Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have been taking the NHL by storm this season, the Jets acknowledge that the Oilers are much deeper this season, and play a strong puck possession game. With that, Winnipeg also believes that they can’t sit back, because giving Edmonton too much time would be dangerous.
