Sportsnet: Oilers look to plant seed of doubt in Jets ahead of playoffs.  While these two teams might not see each other for three weeks after tonight you have to somewhat believe that this contest can go a long way for giving a boost to either team.  Then again the Jets would have Ehlers/Lowry back for the next series and either team could be without an impact player so it is also possible that tonight’s game doesn’t end up meaning much.

NHL.com: Oilers can hold off Jets for second in North. Can the Jets get their groove back?  They could leapfrog the Oilers if they can get it done tonight.  Time for the Jets big dogs to step up their game.

Sportsnet: What psychological advantage do Oilers have over Jets? Sportsnet’s Sean Reynolds and Ken Weibe talk how the Winnipeg Jets stack up against the Edmonton Oilers and what they must to do in order to end the team’s current four game losing skid.

TSN: Jets focused on fixing play before playoffs arrive. Losers of four straight games, the Jets say that while they are learning lessons during these tough times, they can’t just flip a switch come playoff time to raise their games to another level. The team says that they need to turn things around in the final stretch run.

TSN: Jets see importance of win against Edmonton in final regular season matchup. Edmonton is 6-2-0 against Winnipeg this season, including winning five straight against them. Tonight is the final regular season meeting between the two clubs, and the Jets see the importance of getting a win against the Oilers before they likely meet again in the first round of the playoffs.

TSN:  ‘This is still a team that’s built to succeed in the playoffs’. Connor Hellebuyck is struggling, Mark Scheifele was benched and Nikolaj Ehlers is out for the rest of the regular season. With adversity coming all at once for the Jets, TSN Hockey analyst Dave Poulin joins Gino Reda to discuss whether he’s concerned with Winnipeg down the stretch.
