NHL advises teams about a timeline for reopening facilities to players

Players may not be hitting the ice together for a little while longer.

With COVID-19 on the minds of all folks today the NHL provided an update to teams on a timeline for reopening facilities to players.

According to hockey insider Chris Johnston of Sportsnet here is what they had to say:

NHL teams have been told that it will be at least one full week — and perhaps longer — before they can reopen facilities.

He also added this about the players specifically:

There are still no confirmed COVID-19 cases among NHL players. Of course, some may be asymptomatic or awaiting test results at this stage.
