The Moose are in a must-win situation tonight and it’s only Game 2 as they dropped the opening game of their best of three series with the Admirals. But speaking to the players after the 4-1 loss and again on Thursday there seems to be a confidence in this group to bounce back.
One player who should help them in that regard is Jets prospect Elias Salomonsson, who was cleared to resume contact yesterday, and while he isn’t confirmed to return for Game 2 I’d say that is it trending that way.
The team also got prospect Kevin He (2024 4th) who was reassigned from his OHL team to the AHL club, now that he is healthy to skate with the team but I wouldn’t expect him to be in this evening.
Morning skate news:
No line rushes this morning but the D pairs have changed as Elias Salomonsson looks like he’ll draw in alongside Isaak Phillips which is a pairing that worked well during the regular season. No changes to the forward lines.
