The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today its game promotions for the 2018-19 regular season. Over half of all Moose home games this season feature a theme, specialty jersey, giveaway or community initiative.
The Moose kick off the 2018-19 home schedule on Friday, Oct. 12 against the Belleville Senators. Fans can help get the campaign going with a bang, thanks to light-up thundersticks which will be provided to the first 6,000 fans to enter Bell MTS Place.
Fan favourite giveaways making a return for the upcoming season include two Mini Bobbleheads (Jan. 19 and April 6) and Upper Deck Hockey Cards (March 17). Returning themes for 2018-19 include Star Wars Day (Jan. 20), Superhero Day (Feb. 18) and the Holiday Game (Dec. 22), featuring a snowglobe giveaway. Community initiatives presented by Red River Co-op make their return, including: Share the Warmth (Nov. 3), Teddy Bear Toss (Dec. 15), Shutout Hunger (Dec. 31) and Autism Awareness Night (March 9).
In addition to the returning community initiatives, the Moose will add three awareness nights to the schedule for 2018-19. Bell MTS Place will host Pride Day (Oct. 21), Hockey Fights Cancer Day (Nov. 24) and This is Hockey: Follow Your Dreams Day (Feb. 17).
The biggest New Year’s Eve party in Winnipeg returns to Bell MTS Place on Dec. 31 when the Moose host the AHL’s newest franchise, the Colorado Eagles, at 4 p.m.

Video Game Night (Nov. 3)
Military Appreciation Night (Jan. 12)
