Kyle Connor’s point streak hits 21 games; continues to lead NCAA in scoring

Kyle Connor’s streak hits 21 games. Top of NCAA scoring race.

Kyle Connor point streak at 19 games

That sound you hear is the sound of Jets fans jaws hitting the floor as 2015 1st round selection Kyle Connor picked up another two points (assists) in today’s afternoon re-match against Ohio State.  This means he has points in 21 straight games for the University of Michigan Wolverines.  This points streak dates all the way back to December 4th, 2015.  According to Wolverines hockey this is the longest streak since Mike Knuble had a 21-point streak in 1994-95.

He continues to lead the NCAA in scoring with 57 points (26 goals and 31 assists).  May be time to start engraving the Hobey Baker with his name right now.

Connor will have a chance to extend the streak on Friday, March 11th when the Wolverines play host to the Nittany Lions for the first of two games next weekend at Yost Arena to conclude the regular college season.
