Vladislav Namestnikov has 13 goals and 12 assists in 54 games for the Ottawa Senators this season. His name is on the trade block these days and Ottawa didn’t dress him in last night’s game against the Jets in a move that Darren Dreger referenced as “asset management” during Insider Trading on TSN.
Dreger also indicated last night that four teams have inquired about the centre including the Jets, Maple Leafs, Avalanche and Blue Jackets.
Namestnikov has a cap hit of $3,250,000.
Elliotte Friedman on the 31 Thoughts podcast indicated he would worth a “mid round pick”.
Here are his numbers:

With the Bryan Little injury there has been talk about the Jets trying to find a replacement up the middle.
