Game 80: Jets 4 Flyers 0 post-game recap

Post-game recap and interviews with Jets players as well as from interim coach Lowry.

The Jets are going streaking (just kidding) but more importantly Eric Comrie gets his first NHL shutout as Winnipeg defeats Philadelphia 4-0.

For those who would like to take a deeper dive into the advanced stats click here to see the results from the game via Natural Stat Trick.

Notable:

This game marks number 800 for Jets captain Blake Wheeler wearing a Winnipeg uniform. Also this is Neal Pionk‘s 200th game wearing a Winnipeg Jets uniform.

The opening goal of the game for Pierre-Luc Dubois established a new career high for him with 28G.

Kyle Connor hits 90 points for the first time in his career and then got another assist to tie Blake Wheeler for moist point in a season and with the empty net goal he set the new single season franchise record at 92. He’s up to 46G 46A.

Connor also tied Andrew Ladd for 9th on the all-time Jets/Thrashers assist list with 166.

Eric Comrie has 10 shutouts in the AHL and he can add 1 in the NHL after he stops 35 shots this evening. I suspect there are a whole lot of Moose players and staff who are very happy for him as he gets his first in the NHL.

Multi point game:

Kyle Connor 1G 2A
Nikolaj Ehlers 1G 1A
Blake Wheeler 1G 1A
