Game 77: Islanders 5 Jets 4 post-game recap

That’s a bad loss for the Jets who drop this one 5-4 after giving up the game tying goal and then the go ahead goal (in 33 seconds) late in the 3rd  Ultimately they fall to 45-28-4 on the season.

Pre-game:

Prior to puck drop the Jets handed out their end of season awards to Josh Morrissey and Bryan Little.

Notable:

– Adam Lowry with his first career three point game (2G 1A);
–  That makes it three season in his first five in the NHL that Adam Lowry hits double digits in goals;
– Brandon Tanev also had a three point game (1G 2);
– Nathan Beaulieu had his second two point game since he joined the Jets (2A).
– Jacob Trouba had two assists which meant he hit the 40 assist mark for the first time in his career.
