The Jets started their road trip off with a big 3-2 comeback win in OT over the Predators in Nashville. They have a quick turnaround as they jetted to Missouri to take on St. Louis today.
Given that Connor Hellebuyck only faced 20 shots there is a good chance he is back in the net for Winnipeg. Speaking of goalies no Jordan Binnington for St. Louis as he was suspended after the game against the Wild the other day. As per Blues reporter Jeremey Rutherford of The Athletic it will be Winnipegger Joel Hofer who gets the start in net for the home team against the team from his home city.
No morning skate. Associate coach Scott Arniel will speak at 3:30 PM CDT so expect any updates at that time. For now the lines & D pairs are based on yesterday’s game.
As per Jeff Hamilton of the Winnipeg Free Press who was in the media availability with associate coach Scott Arniel the team will use same lineup and Connor Hellebuyck starts.
Jets projected lines & D pairs:
Ehlers – Scheifele – Neiderreiter
Connor -Dubois – Wheeler
Namestnikov – Lowry – Appleton
Barron – Stenlund – Maënalanen
