The Jets are 3-1-1 in their pre-season exhibition games and will look to close things out their final game of training camp which ends in Calgary against the Flames. We know that Jets coach Rick Bowness wants as close to his opening night lineup as he can have so folks are gonna be paying very close attention to the lines and D pairs that are used today at morning skate out at the IcePlex.
Morning skate:
We get the lines and D pairs courtesy of Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun who indicates that forward missing are Brad Lambert, Mason Appleton and that Sam Gagner is skating as an extra. He also indicated that Capobianco and Kovacevic are not on the ice. He also confirms that Connor Hellebuyck gets the start in net.
Jets projected lines & D pairs:
Connor-Scheifele-Ehlers
Perfetti-Dubois-Wheeler
Barron-Lowry-Manaelanen
Toninato-Gustafsson-Harkins
Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Heinola-Schmidt
Hellebuyck
