Interesting game.  Was close, Pavelec had a hell of a good 2nd period (25 saves snapping his own franchise record for saves in a period) and then Jets put their foot on the gas in the 3rd to break it open at 5-1 before then taking foot off gas and allowing two goals to make it look like it was a closer game than it really was.  Shots were 37-29 in favour of St. Louis although after they peppered Pavelec in the 2nd they didn’t get one in the first ten minutes of the 3rd period.

Jets audio:

Blake Wheeler

Nikolaj Ehlers

Mathieu Perreault

Ondrej Pavelec

Coach Maurice:  On his team’s success to moving the puck down low.  Push in the 2nd period.  Difference in Perreault’s game since he got healthy.  On Perreault getting his skating legs back.  Update on Drew Stafford and Patrik Laine.

Blues audio:

Kevin Shattenkirk

Coach Hitchcock:  Problems with the Blues.  Thoughts on the play of Pheonix Copley?  Offensive zone penalties.  Thoughts on the 2nd period.
