Game 34: Jets 3 Red Wings 0 post-game recap

The Jets win fourth game in the last five as they defeat the Wings 2-0 in Detroit and they improve to 17-12-5 on the season. Michigan men get it done.

Jets 2017 2nd rounder Dylan Samberg and 2018 5th rounder Declan Chisholm both made their NHL debuts.

On the opening goal of the game Evgeny Svechnikov picked up the primary assist against his former team while Dylan Samberg got the secondary assist which obviously is his first point in the NHL.

With the assist Svechnikov hits double digits in points for the first time in his career.

Fourth straight season for Andrew Copp to reach double digits in goals.

With the empty netter Kyle Connor reached the 20 goal mark for the fifth consecutive season.

Goalie Connor Hellebuyck had a quietly good game picking up the shutout.
