A tough 6-3 loss for the Jets as they looked like they were in the contest but a missed penalty call in the second period followed by an incredible lacrosse style goal by Andrei Svechnikov made a 2-2 game a 3-2 game and the Canes did not look back after that. The Jets record drops to 20-12-2 on the season as they suffer their first loss at home in December.

Following the game Jets bench boss Paul Maurice didn’t have an update on Andrew Copp who left the game in the 2nd period and didn’t return for the 3rd.
