Game 31: Jets 5 Golden Knights 4 in OT post-game recap

Post-game recap and interviews with Jets players as well as from interim coach Lowry.

Kyle Connor led the Jets with 44 goals in calendar year 2021 and his first in 2022 gave Winnipeg a 5-4 OT victory as they improve to 15-11-5 on the season.

Notable:

The team was left shorthanded when David Gustafsson didn’t return to the game after the 1st intermission in what was described by Winnipeg PR as a lower-body injury.

Jansen Harkins rewarded Dave Lowry for putting him on the second line as he scored his third goal of the season to cut the Vegas lead in half.

Another player who exemplifies hard work paying off similar to Harkins is Kristian Reichel who scored his first ever NHL goal in just his second ever game. The undrafted forward continues to show that hard work pays off. And you can see the reaction from his Moose teammates who learned of his goal during the 3rd period of their game in Winnipeg how happy they were he scored.

Kyle Connor‘s OT goal was the 150th NHL goal he has scored and his 28th game-winning goal.

Mark Scheifele played in his 600th NHL game this afternoon in Vegas.
