Game 10: Jets 3 Flames 2 post-game recap

Post-game from the Jets dressing room as well as from Coach Maurice.

A clean two points for the Jets as they hold on for the 3-2 win over the Flames in the re-match and now have three of four points in this mini series. With the win Winnipeg improves to 6-3-1 on the season.

Trevor Lewis scored his first goal of the season which also is his first as a member of the Jets.

Derek Forbort also scored his first goal of the season which is also his first as a member of the Jets.  It was the defenceman’s first goal since March 25th, 2019.  He was also the first defenceman to score this season for Winnipeg.

Nikolaj Ehlers tied Kyle Connor for the team lead in goals with six when he scored the third goal of the game for Winnipeg.  It turned out to be the game-winner which gives Ehlers 22 in his career and which ties him with former Jets captain Andrew Ladd for 6th on the all-time game-winning goals list.

Today was game 720 for Jets captain Blake Wheeler which moves him into sole possession of 2nd spot on the all time games played list for the franchise, one ahead of Tobias Enstrom and 123 behind Bryan Little.
