Former Winnipeg Jets defenceman Colin Miller signs in Switzerland with Lausanne HC

The Ontario product is heading to Switzerland to continue his hockey career.

After two full seasons in Winnipeg defenceman Colin Miller is heading overseas to join Lausanne HC in the highest Swiss league after signing a one-year deal as per the team website.

In total the Ontario product played 83 regular season games for the Jets as well as five games in the playoffs after they acquired him the Devils in 2023-24 for a 2026 fourth round pick. (As an aside New Jersey used that pick to trade for former Jets prospect Johnny Kovacevic from Montreal, who had picked him up off waivers).

In total the right-shot defenceman played 590 regular season games in the NHL scoring 43 goals with 140 assists. He also played 45 playoff games including the improbable run with the Golden Knights back in 2017-18 to the Stanley Cup Finals.
