Another member of the Moose is heading overseas, as Phil Di Giuseppe has signed with SHL club Björklöven, the team announced today.

Di Giuseppe signed a one-year NHL contract with the Jets last July but did not appear in any games for Winnipeg. Instead, he played all 72 games for the Manitoba Moose, recording 15 goals and 20 assists. His 35 points tied him for third on the team in scoring.
After playing more than 300 NHL games during his career, I thought he might pursue one more NHL opportunity with another organization. Instead, he’s heading to Sweden to continue his professional career.
Di Giuseppe was a positive influence on a young Manitoba squad, providing veteran leadership throughout the season. Fresh off winning the 2024–25 Calder Cup, he also brought valuable championship experience that helped guide the Moose’s younger players.
