Arbitration filings for Jacob Trouba: Jets are at $4M, player at $7M

We are two days away from the arbitration date for Jets defenceman Jacob Trouba.  Today the filings had to be in prior to the hearing in 48 hours and according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet it looks like this:

Jets offering 4 million

Player asking for 7 million.

Which means they likely meet in the middle somewhere between 5.5 and 6 million.  Of course if they cannot then it will go to the arbitrator on Friday.  For now we wait.
