Note: With 48 hours to go until Jacob Trouba’s arbitration date we learn the numbers that both sides are starting with as the Jets are at 4 million while Trouba’s camp has 7 million as their number. And so now we wait.

Jets news:

The Athletic: Tampa trailblazer Nathan Smith shows an NHL dream can be built playing roller hockey in Florida.  (Paywall).  We’ve seen this from the California kids (like Chase De Leo) who played roller hockey before taking to the ice and now over on the east coast this is also happening.

theScore: After signing Hellebuyck, can the Jets afford to keep the rest of their core?  After the question folks have about whether the Jets will get deals done the next one up is whether they can keep this squad as it is currently constructed together.  This article examines that question.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
