Afternoon Delight: Sleeping My Way to the Middle

  • Former OHL’er Jason Cassidy blogs over at THN about his transition from major junior to the CIS. I always like these stories about CIS players, as I feel its an underappreciated league.
  • Psycho Lady Hockey has put out a casting call for professional hockey players in the Toronto area who might be willing to appear in some short films. Looking forward to the films.
  • Click here to help Hockey Blog in Canada choose a Western Conference team to cheer for. He makes compelling cases for all the teams, but I encourage you to write in a vote for the Oilers!
  • Versus’ own Lisa Dillman blogs about her two draft experiences. Illegal Curve is very pleased to annouce that Lisa will be joining the guys on IC Radio, this Wednesday night. Be sure to tune in!
  • Goon’s World has posted a very interesting update on the UND Sioux nickname controversy. Watch for this issue to heat up as summer winds down.
  • TSN is reporting that the Manitoba Moose have signed head coach Scott Arniel to an extension. Well deserved.
  • A pair of interesting stories over at Puck the Media, featuring Eddie Olczyk and Darren Pang. Must be nice to win a cool half-million at the track.
