A look at the Winnipeg Jets 2022-23 opening day roster

Check out the 23-man roster for Winnipeg.

The Jets had until 4 PM CT on Monday to submit their roster to start the 2022-23 season.

From the team today here is the Jets 23-man roster:

Jets roster (23):

Goalies (2): Connor Hellebuyck and David Rittich

Defencemen (8): Josh Morrissey, Brenden Dillon, Dylan DeMelo, Neal Pionk, Nate Schmidt, Logan Stanley, Dylan Samberg and Kyle Capobianco.

Forwards (13): Mark Scheifele, Cole Perfetti, Nikolaj Ehlers, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Kyle Connor, Blake Wheeler, Adam Lowry, Mason Appleton, Sam Gagner, Morgan Barron, Dominic Toninato, David Gustafsson and Saku Maenalanen.

As per the folks at Capfriendly here is how it stands for Winnipeg:

Cap Hit: $79,157,857

Cap Space: $3,342,143

Worth noting the Jets technically have 24 when they claimed Axel Jonsson-Fjallby from the Caps on Monday but he is currently awaiting a work visa.

They’ll still need to make one more move when that happens.
