Note II: The Moose fell to the Checkers 4-2 in Charlotte last night. Ondrej Pavelec made his second straight start, his third start in the last four games for Manitoba. Chase De Leo is heating up for the Moose as he scored in the losing cause and has points in three of last four Manitoba games. The Moose will have no time to feel sorry for themselves as they are back at it tonight at Bojangles’ Coliseum.

Winnipeg Sun: Laine on own goal: ‘S— happens’. No point in losing sleep on it at this point. Have to just put it behind him (which he clearly has) and move forward.

Not to add fuel to this speculation but as you can see in my above Note II and worth noting the Moose did switch things up by starting Pavelec for a second consecutive game last night in Charlotte (first time they have done that this season).
