Late Afternoon News: Avery suspended

• Sean Avery has been suspended indefinitely after saying these comments targetted at Dion Phaneuf.  As a punishment, they should have let him play…and face Phaneuf on the ice.
• Fear the Fin wants San Jose fans to respect Ron Wilson upon his return to the Shark Tank tonight. Agreed.
• Mats Sundin won’t return to the Maple Leafs.  The Leafs are better off without him.
• Is Blue Jackets netminder Fredrik Norrena bolting town? Not that they need him, but I’m sure the Jackets aren’t happy about this.
