Daymond Langkow took the morning skate off, so don’t think the Flames have broken up the Bertuzzi-Langkow-Iginla line just yet. It is training camp, lines will be changing by the hour not the day.

Is Mathieu Schneider heading to Atlanta? I can see the Thrashers having a serious interest in Schneider but would Schneider welcome such a move to a team expected to be in the bottom five of the NHL at season’s end? I know he doesn’t have a no-trade clause but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t voice his displeasure prior to an official agreement.
Dave Shoalts of the Globe & Mail wonders if Jay Bouwmeester is close to done in Florida? Unless this season is a big success it is hard to disagree with Shoalts on this one.
