WST | Craig Button on the Winnipeg Jets Strong Start, Viggo Björck & Nino Niederreiter’s Role

Video Description:
TSN Director of Scouting Craig Button joins Andrew “Hustler” Paterson on Winnipeg Sports Talk to discuss the Winnipeg Jets’ 5-2 win over the Minnesota Wild and their 4-1-1 start to the NHL season.

Button breaks down Neal Pionk’s bounce-back performance in the absence of Josh Morrissey, the Jets’ defensive play, and the early development of 18-year-old rookie Viggo Björck.

The conversation also turns to Nino Niederreiter’s place in the lineup, with Button explaining why he believes the veteran forward is no longer suited for a top-six role and why Morgan Barron is a better fit alongside Björck and Gabriel Vilardi.
