When the Jets hit the ice for morning skate before heading to Colorado, several players were absent, seemingly indicating they were likely being assigned to the Moose to begin the 2026-27 season. They included forwards Parker Ford, Nikita Chibrikov and Noah Gregor, defenceman Isaak Phillips and goaltender Thomas Milic.

The only one who doesn’t need waivers is Thomas Milic. The other four do and we will see tomorrow at 1 PM CT if they clear and can be assigned to the Manitoba Moose.
Head coach Scott Arniel confirmed the four on waivers and Milic being sent down during his media availability.
That leaves the Jets with 29 players left at camp (although it’s 26 since three are dealing with injuries). They are:
