Unlike in seasons past, the pre-season under the new CBA is limited to four exhibition games, making tonight’s contest in Colorado between the Jets and Avalanche Winnipeg’s fourth and final tune-up.
With roster cuts to follow, it is also a final opportunity for players battling for spots to make an impression, and the lineup could offer a clearer indication of what the Jets are envisioning when they open the regular season.
