Note III: The Jets have adjusted the start times for 12 home games following Manitoba’s decision to remain on daylight time year-round. The change will also affect how some road games line up for viewers in Winnipeg. Full list of changes here.
Note IV: It’s a Jets gameday although the game group is going to look like a Prospect Challenge roster as it will be mostly young kids heading to Edmonton tonight to take on a similarly configured Oilers club. They’ll skate in Winnipeg at 10 AM CT with the non-game group skating at 11:45 AM with puck drop at 7 PM CT. The game will be streamed on the Jets website.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets’ Niederreiter looks for bounce-back season after return to full health. (Paywall). Like a lot of his teammates he certainly had a down season last year. While it’s good he’s healthy, he will also have some healthy competition for his spot on the roster. And given he’s in the final year of his deal that could be good motivation for Winnipeg to get a rejuvenated player.
