On Friday the Moose announced they had signed forward Chase Yoder to a one-year AHL contract. The Texas product joined Manitoba last season for his first year as a pro after finishing his collegiate career at Providence College during the 2024-25 campaign.

He was selected by the Penguins in the sixth round of the 2020 NHL Draft but was never signed to an NHL contract by Pittsburgh.
Yoder spent a lot of last season in the ECHL with Norfolk, recording 17 goals and 12 assists for 29 points in 37 games. His biggest offensive performance came on January 10 when he scored four goals in a game for the Admirals. He also appeared in 23 games with the Moose, recording two goals and two assists.
